From a letter to a Log Cabin Event Planner …
Hey Steph, Everything was perfect. I’ve been talking too many of my friends about the night and not one had even the smallest complaint. The food was delicious (it’s different having it fresh rather than from the hot box). There was a never-ending flow of hors’ douerves and all the stations were always full of great food. We had a lot of trouble deciding on the fourth station but I’m glad we chose the tiki one. It had a good variety and everyone seemed to enjoy it’s offerings. People are still talking about the fondue fountain and the ice cream sundae station was definitely worth the extra dollar. Only thing I would have changed was maybe having the sundae station away from the vienesse table as it got slammed right away and that could have taken some of the people away and evened things out. If you have any other proms, definitely recommend Dan Cavanaugh. He didn’t just play songs but mixed them together and was a true DJ. He also played off of us and could tell if we were getting sick of a certain type of music or what he should play next. This clearly was one of the best formal events Holyoke Catholic has ever had. Thank you so much for all of your help in planning it! We could not have done it without you. Aside from the many times I already do because of the work connection, I’d definitely recommend the Cabin for any sorts of events. Being on the other side really made me realize what an amazing job we did. Thanks again!
